On the very first day of our sabbatical, I received a phone call from Grace Baptist Church in Williamsburg. They reached out to ask if I’d be willing to talk with them about a possible pastoral role — nothing formal, just an open-handed conversation and a request for prayer.

Right now, we’re simply listening and seeking the Lord. This could mean a few things: serving bivocationally as we continue planting Red Letter, partnering with them, or even exploring a deeper Kingdom-minded relationship. We don’t know yet.

But I wanted you to hear this early and directly from me.

Please pray with us for clarity, unity, and peace as we walk through this unexpected door. We’re keeping our hands open and our hearts steady.
